Default Removing Resonator

I was thinking about removing the Very Large resonator on my HKS> Would this affect performance at all?

Removing the resonator will not make a significant enough change in performance for you to notice. You will however notice the change in sound. And I'd bet in the end you will NOT like the way it sounds.

You're better off leaving it as is. If you want a different exhaust tone, sell the HKS and get something else.

Yup i agree with that, either keep it on or sell the whole thing, you wont like the sound with it off. Precision muffler makes some kicka** ones, awsome sound and some power to go with it. But what do i know i just said screw and changed the whole exhaust out, LoL.

I ended up taking it off and the sound is actually good. It is a lot deeper and has a nice deep tone at idle.

I took out mine I have the blitz exhaust an it sounds to loud. I have to wait till the engine gets warn in order for it to sound good. If you have headers on yours I do not recomend it. If you do take it out make sure you hold on to your resonator. I didn't keep mine and I want to put mine back on.
