Default So I went to the dealer today

The dealer tells me that the TRD s/c has come out for the xa and xb, they are waiting for the s/c to come out for the Tc.
He turns around to a group of service people and and they all said it was out.
I told them to go ahead and install the s/c and the guy was all excited about the sale.
He called me later to come and get my car and I asked how much faster is it?
He replied its not out.
hahahhahahahhahahahahha

Well, that sucks.

However, it will be interesting to see what kind of numbers our little engines will put out.

TRD is infact testing a S/C for the xa/xb. They should be done with the testing by fall and possibly out in production by early next year.

For the money, your better off going with Blitz or Power Enterprise. You won't screw up your warrenty and power gains will be greater.

TRD will keep it very mild due to the fact its a dealership option. Don't expect anything more than 6 PSI, if that. Honestly, 5 PSI would probably be closer to what it will be. You'd be looking at around 115-120WHP after the install give or take.

Theres also rumor that TRD is in the "design stage" of a Turbo kit for the Tc. Possibly 7-8PSI but thats just a rumor and i haven't heard anything convencing me otherwise. But i do know for a fact TRD is testing a S/C for us.

At my dealership, im good friends with the sales manager. He had told me they were in the process of testing a S/C for the Xa and Xb, he said they were given current results at his last Scion meeting.

When i said "i know for a fact", i didn't mean directly but reading back i know thats what it sounded like...sorry. At any rate, im taking his word for it because i don't know why he would just all of a sudden make something up like that. Who knows, if TRD did produce one it wouldn't be worth the money IMO. It would be a very little S/C, better off just going aftermarket.

I mean look at TRD's S/C for the T/c, 5-6 PSI for almost $3,500. Over-priced.

hmm i'm willing to guess the s/c for xa/xb will be a rebadged blitz. i'll buy it just so i can be cali legal. not hard to up boost , and not even hard to pass emissions with upped boost either (only 1 or 2 psi upped)

I agree, if its not a rebadged blitz, it will probably be as close to identical as legally possible. probably 6psi.
if the the trd were similarly priced to the blitz i'd go with trd, just because
