Basic to the mechanics and complicated for noobs. Its all up to you.
If you have the right tools then it'll be alot easier

its not complicated as much as it is time consuming!
an extra set of hands
and power tools will make u not want to burn the car on the spot.
good luck

seems like it would be more of a _____ in a front wheel drive then rear! there's a lot of tools involved.

Your best bet, put the car on jack stands and attach an engine hoist to the motor. Take the top bolts off the strut tower. disc all the wiring, rad hoses, the steering linkages, and then the 8 bolts that hold the engine cradle to the car... You also need to remove the serp belt and set the AC compressor aside.

lower the whole cradle down to the floor and then roll it forward on the front wheels... There is absolutely no room in the engine bay to reattach a trans in our cars, you have to remove the whole assembly

I agree. I tried to pull the motor and leave the trans. Its impossible all has to come out together.
