Weird stalling problem...
I did a search but i couldn't find anything exactly like my problem. I just recently installed a fujita SRI so im going to assume its intake/MAF related. The car runs and idles fine until i get gas. When i start the car after filing it up it runs HORRIBLE and stalled on me leaving the parking lot. The first time this happened i had less than half a gallon in the tank so i assumed it was fuel starvation and ignored it. Last time i had about a gallon left and it did it again. Maybe my car just hates high gas prices? Any ideas?
No codes are being thrown. rough idle only lasts about a min and then clears up and doesnt come back until i fill up again. car is a 2006.5 5speed with 44k

Yes, the battery was completely out of the car during the install. It so weird that everything is fine untill i get gas, then it has its fit and everything is fine again. haha
dude!! this happened to me, and it took a year (close to) to figure out!!
no codes..
the EVAP lines to the purge solenoid that was mounted to the stock airbox, and now the solenoid should have its own
mounting bracket that came with the intake.. that solenoid..
the lines are backwards (the rubber hoses to it).
swap them and get gas, you will see the problem immediatly goes away.

P.S. that solenoid valve only holds a seal in one direction, when the hoses are reversed it leaks, when you get gas, the
fumes go right through and flood you, if you let it idle for like 30 minutes, you will get a lean code

please go ahead and get the maf sensor checked. Thats was my same issue i ignored it till it left me stranded due to my nos sprayn before the sensor so i froze it. 500.00 resolution. trust me change the sensor. if anything definetly trust me i almost got hit by a dumptruck due to that finally going on me. lol lesson learned. but def that sensor.
ok, i kinda thought it was the hoses but it looked like i had it right from the pics. I couldnt find a clear diagram like that when i looked. Ill go try that! Thanks!
