Never heard of the 100K thing either. The warranty doesnt even last that long, so Im a bit skeptical about Deisels claim.

If with you sabian, it takes me 20 minutes TOPS to do my oil change (no jack/ramps required either), so not only do I save time, but I have the piece of mind that my OC was done RIGHT! Plus I get the YZZF1 on my ride, not what the tech sees fit to put on it.

I use to work as a Tech and I know how sloppy/neglectful they can be.

Im set with gaskets for a while (currently sitting on 13 of them) but cheers for the info!

Does anyone have a 100k/7year warranty?

I know the rust warranty was until 36k, but the dealer told me 100k/7year warranty.

The scion maintenance pamphlet even has a 90k service and a 95k oil change scheduled so that once it hits 100k your on your own.

Maybe my warranty will stop at 100k but I dont care, by then I should have my almost dream job so Im just glad they pay for this while im in college.

Maybe its a college student package? Im sooo confused

 

My xB came with 3yr/36K mile basic warranty. 60K (IIRC) on the drivetrain, but only 3 free oil changes.

Do you have it IN WRITTING that you get 100K coverage? Did you pay extra for extended coverage?? Maybe the economy is so bad, they have extended it???

I dont know, I just did a google search with what you said and got zero hits returned.

Not saying Im right, but it sounds fishy to me.

 

Hmm that's odd. When I enter the service station and say "Hey I get free oil changes how long will it take you?" they dont even ask...A lot of people get this apparently.

I will look for my records when i get back home from school on friday. Pictures sometimes next week when I feel like it lol. I had this free change thing since Jan 06 so no I dont think its about the economy.

I just looked on google and I dont see anything either. I saw something for the pre 04 prius's but thats all. All I know is that they are not charging my card since I paid in full and see no unauthorized purchases.
