I've had the SRI installed for a few months now (Thatnks Robear!)

Yesterday, while look at the front of my box, I thought...hmmm....I know that the intake filter is located directly behind the driver side fog light cover. How about if I take off the cover? Will it make any performance diffeence?

So I pop it off and id notice that it seems to be louder. Then I spent the next 5 hours trying to figure out a way to make a mesh cover for the hole. I finally self fabricated a mesh cover and then had a figure a way to install it, which I did..................man, that's obsessive.

Has anyone else tried this? Do they make something like this? Does it make any difference at all?

I guess I'll have to take it off when the rain comes around again. I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.

i think thats the right idea but the mesh should be the kind that looks like ^^^^^^ so water cant just shoot through but the air can.
