Default YARIS h.b. , XA , XB :same engine and manual transmission ?

if so , the drain plug and filler hole for the manual tranny would be of same location , no ? THANKS

the engine is the same but the trans are different

manual transmission has the exact same gearing for 1st through 5th gear. But final drive ratio is different. I'm hoping the mounts would at least be interchangeable because I want a lower rpm for highway cruising!

For reference, my manual transmission drain plug has a white sticker on it stating "Refer to Owners Manual"

in Japan VITZ rs 1.5l uses same trans as US X.a. 8bolt final drive, The US / CDN market echos use the lighter duty trans shared with the small engine 1.0l Vits a 6 bolt final drive

so does the Yaris hatch back have the c150n?
The link you posted mentioned buying a xA trans to swap to echo in order to run LSD. Does that mean the echo c150n fits on xA too?

I would believe they are the same fitmint as a echo/XA are the same chassis and the ECHO in other markets came with the c154n trans
I dont know if the NEW Yaris comes with a c150n or not sorry

the old echo's have the different lower rpm final drive.


and the trans is direct swap in with xa/xb.
