Is the bigger throttle body going to throw a CEL? If it isn't then i absolutely plan on ordering one within the next week.

The bigger throttle body should NOT trigger a CEL. They should be available in the next couple weeks. We are slightly behind schedule.

i was gonna have this installed along with other parts but the shop called and said there was a problem with the bolts that came with the spacer being too long and they didn't want to put it on because they were worried about something cracking.

i was pretty disappointed but can always find shorter bolts i guess

 

You were going to have the SPACER installed, NOT the throttle body. Wow, they didnt just cut the bolts down or get shorter ones? Thats strange.. I guess that might be out of the realm of that shops skills...

Awaiting final results (install and dyno charts).

 

I installed my own, the bolts look close, but install no prob.. I had the same thought while installing, but the included hardware does work.

As a whole with my I/H/E & P I am sure there is, I can beat
similar boxes with all the same mods, but no spacer... I wanted to dyno before and after, but never did..

 

so whats going on with these products? are they available yet? I still want to get them but haven't heard any updates as to whether or not they are out yet.

 

Well that WR intake manifold can no longer be found on WR's site. Last I saw, it's date was moved from 12/25 to TBA.

As far as the TB from OBX, it has yet to be released.

 

haha yeah it went from TBA to december 25th then it said it would be avail in april of 2008 catalog and now its gone....ahh wtfffff

Im sure it will be a while for the manifold but the TBS is avail but not the TB.

Yep, typical WR bull.

 

There were issues with the prototype and they yanked it. No real gain. Be glad they didn't try to sell them.
