im sure your sick of me asking ?'s but i just have one more.

the tune shop is on the other side of town from where i live ( most likely the install spot) its about 10-15 miles one way, how safe would it be to drive there to get the tune done?

It is 100% safe to tow or trailer it there
Beyond that without the FIC plugged in and stock injectors it could be possible to stay out of boost and drive nice to the shop with no trouble but it is up to you. As long as you keep the revs down you should be fine but I see more people start to get bold once the car is moving!

No, I was originally going to provide one but in past experiences once the car is running they rarely make it in for a polish on the tune. I want these to be performing at the highest level possible as it's ultimately the tune that determines the experience and how people perceive a kit's ability to perform.

ahh, so leave people no choice but to tune it, therefore they cant blame a base level tune for low preforamnaace or high expactations, got'cha, thats pretty smart lol. o btw, my bike sold, putting most of it away to save. :D

so for the rev's are we talking under 3k because that should not be a prob. i could just nurse it there, like i said its just all about traffic and what way i go. I like the fact that there is no pre tune on the FIC, good thinking.

Lower than that but you are thinking along the right lines, a boost gauge will help out just stay in vaccum.

You got mail.. btw the AEM boost gauge is awesome, yes it is more than $100 bucks but electronic is the way to go and the lcd display can be read in sunlight easily plus it will match your A/F!
