You know how it goes...always takes twice as long as you think it will!
It has taken a little longer as I only want to have to do this once and make sure everything fits right the first time as well as stocking up on all the custom parts to ensure when you all place an order they will be going out the door in a reasonable time frame. So basically your patience now will pay off when you place an order!
I am expecting the finished production parts in later this week or next then it will be time for final fitment, if all goes well I just need to get in a 5-spd to put a complete kit on, tune and then give everybody what they want...Numbers!

You can download the s/w from AEM right now or just create a blank one when you get it but yes it will come with everything you would get if you just bought the FIC from me. However as with all products that are s/w driven what comes in the box usally has an update or patch from the manufactre by the time you open the product so before you load it on your pc it is always good to check what the latest version is. The cool thing about the AEM FIC is that it has a USB driven interface and you get the s/w so unlike the emanage you can do any changes without spending for the support tool.... of course changes can be co$tly so be careful!

Single side, so it will be a vertical flow FMIC. Overall size is slightly smaller than the PWR FMIC so cutting of the bumper support is not needed!

how will the setup work well with the auto transmission? and will it have wiring problems with models made 2006 and up, like the greddy systems do?

When can I buy one?

Let's see...
All of the testing is being done on an automatic so any info that you will see will be off my personal box which gets an average of 4000 miles a month on it! That will tell you in a hurry how well it will work with your xB!

As for the wiring the Greddy doesn't really have a problem, it was just never made to go on 2006 and up which is why they say on their site 2003-2005 for the kit. But simply, No there will not be an issue as all our Plug and Play harnesses will be made with any wiring changes in mind! I will be the first to say I hate wiring so this is one of the major issues that needed to be handled and why I feel it is so important to include a simple solution to something that is normally a time consuming pain in the rear! Plug-n-Play all the way Baby!

As far as when they will be out...... Still need to finish testing so looks like next month but for everybody’s patience I'm promising a hassle free kit, I wouldn’t product test on you guys by releasing something that I’m not 100% behind and I’m sure the completed kit will show that!

how's the BOV sound on the automatic?

Do you have any numbers yet, how much boost are you running?

Also, when you go to the AEM website to look at the Controller, it says its only for 03-05, have they just not updated their website?

....cant wait

coming from someone who never wanted or considered FI because of reliability issues, I'm very tempted.

As much as I would hate to say it, Take all the time you need to make it a PERFECT KIT. I think most people would wait a little longer in exchange for less problems.

I've always wanted a low boost HIGH reliability option and I think we are on te same page.

good job

Patience is "key" for a hassle free kit.

The AEM Fuel & Ignition Controller was tested on a 03-05 model and they will only bless what they have tried it on. As long as your harness is for the 2006 you will be fine and there will be a chance to tell us what year when you order so no confusion on this end!
