Aftermarke Intake Air Temp sensor

Aftermarke Intake Air Temp sensor
Does anyone know if I can use an aftermarkert IAT sensor by connecting it to the stock IAT wire so that the stock ecu can read temp? I want to put the sensor on my intake manifold.

the resistance range of the stock IAT sensor is 98.5 ohms to 156K ohms. What I'd like to do is find an aftermarket sensor that has the same resistance range as the OEM sensor and just wire it up to the factory harness. The other option would be getting a second OEM MAF and using that one for the intake air temp and the primary one for air flow. However, that seems like more work than i want to get involved in. Any ideas are welcome.

have a map sensor!!!! people: please help me out with what I want to do. the PROBLEM is that the stock ecu is calculating fuel based on erroneous information. if my intake manifold heat soaks the air it will cause a rich afr which is what I am trying to avoid!!!!

Just get an electronic thermometer and solder it right behing the cone filter in the intakes tubing. They are relatively small and it will not read outside air temp, but intake airtemp. The heat soak will effect the airs temperature but you can calculate the medium and use that as your True Air temp and see if it runs rich or lean.
Thats all i can think of.
