Default blitz s/c

I have a 05 x/b 5 speed with the blitz s/c, I think what you are feeling is the clutch engaging with the pulley. I doubt it's the belt but go ahead and have the tension on the belt checked out. Any time you change a belt it will need to be rechecked after it gets warm then just retension the belt. EDDY

it's the belt, you should tension it after car is warmed up. i tension it like this; i make sure i can twist the belt 90 degrees in between the sc pulley and alternator pulley without forcing, that's a good tension. If belt is too tight u will lose power from binding, if it is too loose u drop power from loss of boost. Believe me it is a fine line. buy a boost gauge also, should read consistant boost all the way to redline without dropping.
