I'm sure you could anodize it and still retain the ability for it to dissipate it's heat properly.

hey guys,

well HIN was fu and i hope some of you got to check out the photos.

As far as "heavily modified," i ment that i took a JDM xB kit, and made it work on an xA ;).

recirculating BOV, custom intercooler piping, relocated winshield washer resivoir, new wastegate....its all comming together.

The kit was thrown on rather quickly for HIN and a few passes down the track. I am now in the process of revamping all the intercooler piping for a more stealth look under the hood.

I personally love the way my intercooler looks with the grill because people always look twice.

....all i have for now is the following:

...i know theres no real good top shots, but you all get the idea.

give me a few days to get some more.

Brandon,

How has this been treating you? I have a (little) bit of time to start messing with the xa again and I'm thinking very hard about going with the Greddy route.

How has the tune held up? What was your base # & A/F? What were you able to put down with the kit.

Any additional info is appreciated.. sell me on the kit. I'm getting very bored of the xA (again) and need to do something to spark interest. (power and chassis stiffening)

Thanks! & Awesome xA

Evrything is AWSOME right now guys. Im in the process of getting the final touches put on my new manifold and having the turbine housing polished on my new charger. All the intercooler piping is in, and most of the exhaust is done. Car runs GOOD.

On my setup now, before we add all the new goodies, i ran against a new mazdaspeed 6. (270hp awd...and this one had the ecu reflash), and just to give you guys an idea, i had him until about 70-75mph, then he slowly creeped by (and he consistantly runs 13.8 )
