BOV PROBLEMS
PARDON SPELLING ERROSR CUZ IM DRUNK BUT UR SAHYIN IT DOESNT MAKE SOUND? THE BOV IS QUETER WHEN U HAVE IT RECIRCULATED (VACCUME LINE TO INTAKE). IF U DISCONNECT IT AND IT STILL IS QUEIT THEN U HAVE A PROBLEM AND IT MAY BE SET TOO HARD. I DUNNNO ABOJUT THE SSQ BUT MY OLD TYPE-S I HAD IN MY CIVIC WAS ADJUSTABLE, AND WHEN I WAS ONLY RUNNING 12PSI (WHICH UR PROLLY RUNNING LESS ON AN XB) IT WOULDNT OPEN THE BOV AT FULL HARD. TRY ADJUSTING THE BOV. SORRY FOR CAPS I CANT READ MY OLWN TEXT LOL
well sounds to me like its not getting the vacum it needs. your bov works a little diff from others yours doesnt have a strong spring to hold its self close from the pressure yours seals better as the boost increases.. When you let off the vacum from the intake manifold opens it.. So my guess is that its just not getting enough vacum to make it open correctly.
