Default decision decisions

well guys i have had my xb for 2 years and im thinkin about trading it in for a tc or another xb but this time manual. i wanna know if i put a turbo on my manual will it be worth it? and if i did which turbo would do well? and also if i get the tc which turbo would be best? i want to get atleast 200 to 300 hp on the tc. i know the xb prolly wont reach over 200 hp. but give me yalls opinions on this.

I'm really looking at the ZPI stage 1 setup...it will hit 188hp just with the kit and with a few mods that I have planned I know it will go over 200...easy !!

I had an RS2 xB and ran into the same pickle. Couldn't decide weather i wanted to boost the xB or get a tC. Hmmm, well, i traded in for a tC and will be boosting in the next month :D 200-300whp is pie on a tC

You can put a turbo on either an auto or manual...manual is better because you control the shift point & rpm.

Thats the nice thing about a ZPI turbo..it dosent matter what you have a manual or an auto.. you can rock a turbo either way.. and let me tell you an ZPI turboed auto is awsome to drive.

With what the kit runs out of the box.. your transmission will be fine.. they ran mine at 10psi for awhile and had no issues with the engine or the tranny.. Now if you want to run more and more hp then getting a tranny upgrade will be necessary.

Dont cop-out, boost the box... Too many here have dumped the box, and Many more have found the true path to richeousness.

lmao thats f*ckin halarious. i dont know yet. im likin that stage 0 230 hp then i could upgrade it lata for the tc. one of the major reasons i want the tc is cause i had always wanted it in the begining just didnt know cause of insurance issues on how much i was goin to pay a month. and cause honda bsed me about getting a civic but now i say f honda. the tc will kill any of the civics and could even take the si i think even though its a 30 hp differance on the take off the tc will get it. but umm yeah.

i have a 5 spd turbo'd xB and i smoked my buddies rx8 brand new, and pull on cobalt ss's.. i love it.. right now im running approx 165 hp... boosting to 8.5 psi, turbo back exhaust, hopefully 200 whp mark...

you should get a tc though, im not knocking on the xb's but zpi can make the tc have 400 whp, which is insane..
