ok thought id share this with you guys. my mom purchased an xb back when they first came out, i mean ours was probably the first xb on that lot. and recently i was talkin to her about puttin a sc on the box and she tells me that an option from the dealer was either a t/c or a s/c, sounds crazy i know, but it was on the paperwork of available options for the vehicle. was this a special promotional thing, anyone else heard about it, i know they dont do it now. btw our box came from the toyota in temcula.

 

Did she maybe confuse it with a Cold Air Intake? I have never heard of a dealer getting envolved with a trurbo or supercharger on an xB.

 

ive seen dealers offer the Greddy S/C as an option...

yeah im sure thats why we were both so confused about it lol, and it was another 2,500 bucks is why she didnt get it either, so it wasnt an intake lol.

 

i know for sure they have it on a tC, but also different parts of the US offer different things. if you go onto the scion site, type in your zip code, then type in a jersey zip then a florida zip you will find different accessories available, but i know here in jerz the tC def has a supercharger option.

 

Maybe the buyer's order form was some sort common/generic form that was made for a variety of vehicles....some of which may have had a supercharger as a dealer option. I know at one time you could get a dealer installed S/C on Camrys, Avalons, Siennas, Tacomas, T-100's, ect.

 

I just bought my xB and the only one that had the option of the S/C was the tC. But ithink the S/C kit for the tC is the same as the xB... correct me if I am wrong.
