Default Just got done.... Update

I just got off the phone with Todd at TurboToyotas and I ordered the turbo kit for my xA.
I can't wait till the kit comes in. I will be counting the days till its here. :D

I will keep everyone updated. From the time I get the kit, till the time the turbo is installed.

Thank you, Todd.

Today 4/26/07 - The GReddy E-manage came in from Titan Motorsports.

4/30/07 - AutoMeter Phantom 2 Gauges came in from Summit.

I will keep everyone updated when more boxes start to show up.

just make sure to use the right injectors so you don't have a fiery mess like 8psixa!

well, i don't know if tc injectors will fit properly, but it is only $350 for new xa/xb high flow injectors. please don't git a square peg in a round hole, have a gas leak and have your xa burst into flames!

Todd at TurboToyotas is giving me a set of Tc injectors. I'm going to make sure I put the injectors in the right way.

tC injectors are the same exact size as the xB ones, they just flow more.. I used them on my turbo setup with out any problems.. The biggest isuue with injectors is getting them to seat correctly so they dont leak.. I had issue with the original xB and tC injectors seating correctly, since they are a compression fit setup.. It just takes some time and leaking fuel to get them in right.

^theres actually a trick there...

use the seats from the tC as well.
they are the same diamter as ours, but they position the nozzle at the correct height instead of chancing it with the regular xA/xB seats.

if you compare the injectors very closely you will notice the difference in the tip length which is obviously where having a different seat comes into place.

;)

I just sent the money for my turbo toyota's kit, and of course, im waiting anxiously for Todd to receive the money and send me my kit. As for the injectors im currently running with Celica GT (1ZZ-FE) and if i need more i have Celica GTS (2ZZ-GE) injectors waiting on the side line. Since i also have a fuel rail i don't think anything bigger than 330cc's is necessary.

When i install my injectors i always buy OEM seats and O-Rings directly from Toyota, there expensive, but prevents leaks.
