Default TURBO PROBLEMS

hey guys a have a xb turbo the turbo have internal wastegate but dont want pass the 4psi
any ideas plz
maybe if i put a manual boost controller can resolve let me know guys

What is it internally gated at?

Well if it is internally gated.. and it wont go past 4psi. Then you proably only have a 4 psi spring in the WG.. So you need to either get a bigger spring in the WG ( wont be fun to pull that WG apart and get it back together), get a Boost controller or best thing is to pull the WG off and weld the flapper shut and weld on an aftermarket WG to the sysstem and change the spring to whatever you want .. The SRT-4's factory WG only comes with a 5 psi spring, but uses a bleed/solenoid setup to make it boost to 15psi.. If we were to run the WG right of the nipple( like you did) of the turbo we could only boost 5psi max.

hehe srt's are too easy to make big power on :p :p :p

yeah, what proshopxb said, you've got a 4psi spring in the gate. external gate might be a bit much, easiest way would be a boost controller.
