Sure but to what specs, that is the current issue. That knowledge hasn't been made public yet.

whatever specs you can specify that the stock cams are able to physically be reground to.

you'd have to take a few guesses to get it right. or go into an engine building simulator.

I have a question for you TurboToyotas.

If I was to put your Turbo kit on my auto, I would have to upgrade my tranny right?

Not internally. If you are going to drive the car hard all the time, I would recommend a tranny cooler and a trans temp guage, other than that you'll be fine.

I don't however recommend allot of drag racing or neutral drops as that will reak havoc on any tranny. If you plan on doing either then I would look into upgrading the transmission.

This was the 1st Scion meet I have attended and I think it went really well.

Met allot of nice people and got some good feedback and interest in the kit.

Those who I gave rides too where quite impressed, which for me personally was very gratifiying.

How is the clearance back there? Doesnt look like much (this is why ZPI did that weird turbo setup right?) any chance of fitting a big Borg Warner turbo back there?

^^^^ZPI did what they did (not being the first company to do it) cuzz they are were experimenting............but yea with ZPIs setup ther is turbo lag............thats why they they put on the 14b turbo instead of the 16b turbo so that there would be less lag...........

There is enough room for a wide range of turbo's to be used. Just depends on what your needs are. My current offering works all the way up to a GT3076R. But something can always be custom made.

As far as Borg Warner turbos are concerned what "big" one are you referring too?

Todd

Everyone is making good points but i think the biggest thing that everyone is leaving out is toyotas history. Yea sure honda has a good starting platform.....but lets not forget about the fact that toyota has built plenty of turbo cars. Which leads me to believe that our blocks should be able to handle a good amount of boost on a stock bottom end granted it has been tuned as close to perfect as possible. I have had lots of hands on experience with a few supras, celicas, IS300's, and my father owns one very mint mr-2......i notice quite a few similarites between my engine and the engine from both the turbo mr-2 and celicas....its just a smaller set-up

I can attest that the auto xB with this turbo was very quick! I was one of the lucky few that got to see the set up in person and go for a ride...I have an auto too and as you all know, they are SLOW...With this turbo set up, the lil toaster screams...Left me smiling for the rest of the evening...Thanks Todd!

BTW, Todd is a super easy guy to talk to...Congrats on a killer set up...

Any info on the xA's that have your kit TurboToyotas. I would like to see some pictures and maybe some videos.

Looks like ZPI is not going to make a Turbo for the Egg. Would it be around the same price if I bought one thing at a time instead of buying the kit?

There are 2 xA customers installed and tuned, but they are not the type to get on the forums and post about them. There is one that should be posting and another whose kit will ship on Monday that will hopefully doing allot of posting(fingers crossed)

I will have exhaust for all the SCIONS.

xA/xB will be 2.5" systems

For the TC I will offer two, 2.5" and 3" systems.

Regards-

Todd

PS- We shot allot of video this past week. Currently being edited and should have them up this next week. STAY TUNED!!!!

ill be posting for sure.. vids of dyno, etc... ill be running 10 psi on TurboToyotas's kit, fidanza flywheel, stage 3 clutch, emanage/harness and 370cc injectors..i would go AEM FI but i dont want to wait long .. emanage works so im not worried..

i will be making approx. 200 wheel.. but it might be a little harder for me cause im at 4300 feet above sea level

Todd at TurboToyotas is very good to work with, i cant thank him enough..

ill also have vids and pics very soon!!
