same here kits look awsome .. cant wait for the exhaust aswell. hope hey come in 2.5
I will have exhaust for all the SCIONS.

xA/xB will be 2.5" systems
Sorry, the mechanical workings of the car are a little beyound me, I'm more cosmeticly smart than mechanical. When you say 2.5'' system I'm assuming that's a complete exhuast replacement? or just cat back? I have the TRD catback and it has a 4'' tip, but I don't know if the whole exhuast kit is 4''. The TRD isn't loud enough for me, I want something louder.

I have another question for you TurboToyotas. Its about the intercooler.

Could I run a different intercooler or are your pipes designed to go with the PWR Intercooler? Since I have an auto, I was going to get the Koyo Aluminum Racing Radiator, what else do I need to help keep things cool? Do I have to do anything to the tranny?

I'll be taking off my Injen CAI and my DC Headers when I install the kit. What kind of Air Filter comes with the kit?

I have about 4-5 months left of saving up to do. Can't wait

Johnathan... the TRD exhaust you have is what is called an axle-back. It is just the rear section of your exhaust that starts right before the rear torsion beam (axle). The diameter of the piping on that exhaust is 2.25".

What Todd was recommending was a 2.5" exhaust from the header back. Or at the very least from the catalytic converter back. Right now, none of the big name companies make anything like this. You will be looking for custom work from a local shop, or from one of the companies building the turbos.

To be quite honest though, if you don't already know the difference between an axle-back, a cat-back, and a full exhaust, you probably aren't ready for forced induction. Or at least not a turbo. Start studying. Research as much as you can. Turbos can be trouble free. But they can also be a huge headache. Just be sure you know what you are getting yourself into before dropping big coin on something you just think would be cool to have.

Yes very good advice I wish more members would give Dustin the respect he deserves.

All the components of the kit are designed to "fit" together. You could use any intercooler you like, you will just have to make intercooler piping that will fit for what you choose.

Do I have to do anything to the tranny?
For any automatic I would recommend a tranny cooler.

What kind of Air Filter comes with the kit?
A K&N air filter comes with the kit

Regards-

Todd

Todd, Could I run a different air filter?

Now I'm going to look into a tranny cooler.

LOL. Thanks Todd. I just do what I can to help out fellow Scion members. And unfortunately for many, I am not one to hold my tongue. I know that the dislike for much of what I say comes with the territory. But who cares right? Its just an internet forum.

Well to answer your questions:

1- I do not offer "financing" but we can put together a payment plan that suits your needs. IM for details and that applies to everyone.

2-Axle testing begins shortly, there are not my axles as I am helping another company test and develop theirs.

3-I won't be offering any kind of internals as there are many brands that offer them. You can get pistons from Rolhard@Raceprecison, rods from crower or cunnigham etc.
I try and stick to the things I know best, plus I already have enough on my plate ;)

Regards-

Todd

I was heavily looking into trading my xA in for a tC to do a proper turbo setup.. then I decided to come around here and check things out on anything new from ZPI or Greddy and stumbled across this...

I think I'm gonna keep my current Egg for commuting (I just broke 65k) and get another 06 xA and turbo it =)

Ive been in Iraq for a while and haven't been checking on Scion-Life. Anything new in the turbo scion world? Anyone making internals for our engines yet? I'm trying to figure out what I want to do when I get back to the states. Sell the xB and dump money elsewhere, or build the box. I wanna do a fully built turbo though, and before I left there werent many options. Anyone willing to fill me in on any changes?
