Default '06/'07 Stock Headunit Aux Cable P/N?

Hey folks,

I recently upgraded from a '04 stock headunit with a lethargic eject-mechanism to an '06/'07 non-ipod headunit. I was wondering if anyone knew the part number for the aux cable so I can use the AUX mode.

Thanks

Give Troy a call at Wesley Chapel - he should be able to get it for you w/ a potential discount.

Just use an adapter with a headphone connection on each end. Plugs the headphone out of the iPod into the AUX connection. No charging though.

Mikochu, do you need the plug too, or just the cable? I'm not using mine anymore, so if I can motivate myself, and can figure out how to get it out, I might have one for you. Don't hold your breath on the motivation factor though.

i recently just had a rental.. (dodge caliber) it had a exterior aux port by the headunit.. i was able to just purchase a stereo audio cable and just hook something into my ipod headphone slot connecting that to the AUX slot..

so where is the AUX port on the headunit? on the backside of the unit?

sorry to thread jack mikochu >_<

i also have a similar question. i dont understand how i am supposed to use the aux component of an 06 non ipod stereo after i swap out a 04 stereo. what cables are necessary to utilize the aux function, though i understand that a 3.5mm male/male wire is required to plug recent scions equipped with the 06 stereo.

plz help
