Aloha - just bought a 2006 xA with only 94k miles, in pretty good shape according to my mechanic. Would like some advice on some upgrades:

What is the best available cruise control? Will be commuting 24 miles each way each day and occasional trips to Arizona.

I just purchased my 2nd 2006 Scion xB. This one is Red Salsa!

It didn't have cruise control either, but I found the Rostra 250-1755 on Amazon for $209.99 with free 2 day shipping. It is brand new comes with all the instructions for installation. This is actually the 2nd one of these I purchased as my other Thunder Grey Scion xB had one installed in it too. These work great and in fact the Scion Dealership to me this is what they would install if I were to have them do it, but it would have cost a heck of a lot more money.

You just have to be patient and take your time, but for the most part installing it is plug and play.
