I have a little questions…

I read all the post and tech guides in the forum but I still I have my doubts…

On Scion XB

Need to know where to find exactly the power lock cables to habilitate these features in my aftermarket car alarm. I know this cables are neg -. I don’t know what is the meaning of drivers kick panel. If I traduce this in Spanish it says “Panel de retroceso del conductor” don’t have any sense to me.

These photos really confuse me in the tech section:



The alarm has the features of the remote starter for manual transmission vehicles. Need to plug a wire in the emergency brake cable. I don’t have a clue where is it this cable. If anyone knows where I can find this cable, please, let me know.

Another question…

In the instruction manual says that the alarm has auxiliary outputs, I bought an additional radar sensor, but it has the same plug than the shock sensor. The alarm comes with only one plug input sensor, I know that I can hook additional features and sensors in this alarm, but I don’t know how. If anyone knows, I will appreciate the help.

I can answer your first question. If you are sitting in the driver seat, the kick panel is the triangle shaped plastic cover that would be just to the left of your foot.

Another way to find it is that it is the triangle panel to the bottom/left of your fuse box.

the emergency brake wire is a single wire connected to a pin switch at the base of your ebrake handle itself. Remove your center console to find it.

The radar sensor must be wired in parallel with your shock sensor for it to work. The wire colors are probably the same if not keep the colors the same as the pins on the plug. That should take care of your questions. If you cant figure that out, you shouldnt be installing alarms.

I installed a few alarms for my different cars and cars of my friends, K9-2, B52, Astra
But this alarm challenges my knowledge; this is the first really complicated alarm that I installed.
I always install the equipment to my car, music, alarm, parts, jejeje, I’m very jealous with my car and I prefer do myself because I don't trust in installers. In the past I have had a few bad experiences.
