Best thing is to look in the yellow pages for a place that respools alternators. They can make it a higher amperage.

Sam,

I hope these few solutions can help you out. Check these out:

http://h-o-alternators.com/index.htm

I went and got my alternator done from Mechmann 714-997-2475

or email/call the alternater god himself, Dominick Iraggi @:
Dominick@tds.net
shop 615 287-7991
cell 615 594-8965

Call Dominick for faster results. If you are looking for a shop to install the alternator for you, call Speaker Works in the City of Orange: 714-997-9885 and ask for Eric H.

cool, thanks for the info.

Is it better to run two optima batteries or could I run the stock and then a optima?

It is actually better to run an optima for your main engine necessities, and run like a batcap or lightning audio high out put battery, anything stronger than an optima would work better for your audio system.
