The remote lead is usually from the antenna lead, but I forget what it's from for our cars (I believe I used a different wire). From my understanding, the amp only detects power(acting as a relay) from the remote lead, and powers on the amp. . . there is little to no current draw. I am aware that it would drain on the lead itself to attach fans, but I figured that the fans I used drew little power. Either way, I decided to risk it, and ran two fans in parallel on the remote lead. I've had it run like that for two years (my previous car) and I never blew a fuse or anything else. I'm doing the same in the xA, and have had it wired that way for about 7 months. No issues yet, but I am risking it. I'm just hoping that I blow a fuse, at the worst.
