Default Anyone have this problem?

I just bought and installed all this today.

Pioneer GM-7200M 800W Mono Channel Amplifier,
Alpine SWE-1042 10" Subwoofer,
Q-Logic QLH-6510SS Sealed 10" Enclosure,
Peripheral ISVE61 Hi/Lo 80W 4-Channel Crossover,
Rockford Fosgate RFK4X Amplifier Installation Kit.

It sounda bada** and I love it!!!

HOWEVER!

I get a weird problem 50% of the time

When i turn my car on, about half the time my speakers wont make any sound at all.

Before you reply with an answer, let me tell you how i installed it.

i put the cross over inline with the factory harness, i still have my factory Pioneer HU (hence the crossover installation)

my amp and sub work sperfectly 100% of the time. I have it to turn the amp on when my ignition is on.

but about 50% of the time I dont get any sound at all. not from the sub, not from the factory speakers. BUT if i shut off my car, and restart it usually comes right on and i have sound.

has anyone had this problem before? and any suggestions to a solution? (it gets annoying turning my car on and off for no apparent reason)

well i rewired the whole thing, to see if that was it.

still is doing it

im pretty sure its one of 2 things...

1. Our Pioneer deck may have an integrated amplifier that any electrical disturbance or change will cause it to prematurely fail (as a fail safe)

or 2. I have missed some minute impossible to see detail (which i doubt)

the sad part is i used to intall modile electronics for a living, and i cant figure it out!!

I will probally remove the crossover and just buy a dvd player deck today...

unless someone else on here is a pro electronics installer and can shed some light i have missed.

The xA is a freakin bass AMP, lol the body style and they way its materials are, I dont even need dynomat, its loud enough, lol...

And i love the fact I have very very low rattle on outside (but il fix that with some weather stripping )

good to hear you got it working, i had a similar problem untill installed my LOC. Although my car rattles like hell, id buy some dynomat if it wasnt so expensive. i have to turn down my subs to keep things from rattling too much.

yeah, 250 rms amp to my 250 rms 10" in a sealed box, pointing away from the driver seat is plenty loud enough for me.

(i know this cause then i turn my volume up, i can feel all my hairs move with the bass)

the best part is according to my oscilliscope (my super tuned fine ear ) i have absolutley NO distortion.

I would severely reccomend my setup in any xA, especially if you want to keep OEM radio

This is exactly why I sound deadened my xB is to stop having to listen to other peopls rattles and crappy stereos (I'm in no way saying yours is bad).

Please be careful and not blast in bad neighborhoods or on your way home, yer asking for trouble (thieves).

I agree, instead of wiring the amp turn on wire to the stereo, I wired it to a switch that draws power from the fuse box. that way i can turn off the amp in residential areas and keep family members happy when they ride with me. but the sound that is heard from the outside is minimal.
