on the xA's that I have done, I used the switch location near the drivers right knee. Are the newer xA's differnt?

Not to rain on the parade, but since he asked for different sources, let me throw
www.onzium.com
out there. ANother great site for cheap lighting systems. I did my feet and vents with a music interface for less than $50. Randode of course is always the best, but there are other options too

The Toyota PDF instructions, which is maybe for what the dealers sell, show T-tap fittings spliced onto the cigarette power and ground wires. Then the lighting wires plug into the T-taps. Are T-taps like the 3M Scotch-Lok connectors - are these things that snap on a wire and cut through the insulation to connect another wire to it?

I can ship asap. Priority mail takes about 2 days.

and its true, you can "roll your own" and wire up lights in your car. But I guarantee it wont be as clean as the kit that I sell.

Thanks everyone.

I believe they are. I have a 2006 xA and the switch panel has been moved to the driver's left knee. On the right side in the centre dash is the radio, then a gap, then the environmental controls, then the oven, then the ashtray+lighter, then a small change tray. I'll try and get a pic up soon, but it does appear that the layout has changed in the 2006 model.

I have shifters complete with housings, so All you have to do is swap it out. The shifter is $60, and I will nedd a $60 core charge that will be refunded after I recieve your stock shifter.

I've got it rough -- I live just down the street from Randode - he is the man - He has done all our installs. You cannot go wrong with his products. If you haven't done it yet email him now and get hooked up!
