I've had them in my xB for 2yrs, with daily use, and have had no problems....

Why don't you email him (randode@randode.com) and let him know what happend, he stands by his products, I'm sure he will take care of you. That would make more sence than talking smack on SL......

i respect the offer... the first one i chimed off as prolly misuse due to the passenger seat being jerked back and forth... then they all slowly went out... i wasnt necesarily talking smack... but my experience is just as valid as anyone elses... no use in people only reading the good... and if you truely are willing to help fix the problem... then if anything this shows that maybe things go wrong... but ur a good business man and willing to stand behind your product like you say...

^5 to randode... if youd like please PM me and id like to hear what we can do about it

thanks

Is there some easy way to get these lights hooked up to turn on and off like the dome light rather than using the rocker switch?

my buddy Bill from Scion Specialties makes a relay that works with my kit to operate with the dome light. I think its around $15 or so.

I'd like to chime in on this email - mainly for anyone out there that may be considering Randode's kit but may be timid about an electrical D.I.Y. and because I'd like to give Randy some kudos.

Randy's just one of those guys you meet and you instantly like. Wherever Randy is - everyone else is. He's an answer guy. A fix it guy. A creative guy. People are just drawn to those qualities. Plus he's got a _____in' ride.

On to the light kit... I got mine about a year and a half ago. I didn't know squat about electrical work, wiring, grounding points, messing w/ the dash... I was a newbie for sure. I got his kit and 45 mins. later (I know that's long for some of you vets out there) I had a sweeter interior. Instructions were (are) flawless. It was one of those moments when you say, "Why didn't I do that earlier?" I had hem hawed for months and for no reason. It's a perfect solution to a specific need - and for that reason alone, Randy deserves every thanks (and penny) he gets. He earns both.

plus I think he's cute :p

lol, now, about me buying them, which color would look good inside? Im pointing my head toward the red or blue.. my aftermarket HU is BLUE, so thats why, but than all my ac and stuff is that amber, so i was gonna go with red, so u think i should stick with blue? or go red? which i kinda think itll look all "Patriotic" because white speedo, and blue HU and red lights, lol.. anyway help! i want to order this tonight, because they $80.00 for the whole set!! wow!! and also, should i get JUST the interior and buy like a new grill like the ABS one or should i get the INTERIOR and cupholder, or the INTERIOR and UNDER THE HOOD LED's? cause i already got the underneath car ones.. HELP!!!
