I will finally have my d3 and my basslink installed today I'll post pictures later this evening.

 

cant wait for mine. getting it as soon as we get it in at work. looks nice i am sure it will preform just as nice. anyone have pics? i will post some as soon as i get mine put in.

 

can you use the nav controlls while driving? I can use everything on my n1 while driving. ( I don't care about watching a dvd while I drive) i jsut need nav controols on the fly so my passenger can type in places we need to go while driving.


So in other words is it worth upgrading from the n1 to one of the d series? :O)

 

Only limited nav controls....Like POI but can NOT enter a new address without the Bypass

When I investigated the AVIC d3 it turned out be very limited. Just a suggestion, but if you have time look at the "Street Deck" at MP3Car.com. That's he way I'm going to go. It has more horns and whistles and appears to be far beyond the cutting edge of what is on the market today.

 

i got the avic-d3 the week after i got the car
and i love it.
navigation tells you to turn a little late sometimes, but over all it takes u to where you need to go.
you can change the color schemes and plug in your ipod too.
it's crazy. i'd recommend it.
