Default anyone replaced their steering wheel?? problem inside

awhile ago i put in a nardi steering wheel and didnt put in the resistor included in the momo hub package, hence the airbag light is on....But, the VSC and TRAC off lights are also on. Is this from disconnecting some of those harness' to put the steering wheel on?? my gas mileage has gone down considerably and i researched this forum which led to cleaning my MAF. mileage is still poor so im wondering if pulling my steering wheel is the cause??? sounds crazy to me but you guys probably know whats going on..HELP! thanks

Your poor gas milage should have absolutely nothing to do with the steering wheel. I've replaced mine and also disconnected the hub spring switch which will cause the "TRAC OFF" and "VSC" lights to come on. I left mine unplugged and the lights are on permanently. I'm perfectly OK with these features not working and have been for the past 4 months the steering wheel has been installed. As far as your gas milage issue is concerned look for another cause. This isnt it....

^I got the same thing with my steering wheel swap, doesn't seem to cause any problem with milage or power.

anybody else?

Get 3 Ohm resistors and plug them into the harness instead of the airbag.

3ohm resitors will turn those off? How do you plug them in?

Thanks!

Plug them into the harness instead of the airbags (my 06 uses 2 connectors for the driver's airbag).
