I broke down and went to the dealership this morning. The parts guy claims all 4 button are one piece, you cant buy just 'a button'. but you could buy 3 more complete sets and take them apart and re-assemble. He said there is no wiring difference, the auto down feature is controled by the button....

Full Auto windows... I can't live without them.
not because of Laziness, but for safety, since I love driving with the windows open, but whenever an important call comes from a client that I HAVE TO pick up, it's much safer to just Auto-Up everything rather than having to tie up one hand because of the windows.

I just finished mine the other day. All I did was go to a junkyard that had three xBs and get the driver side switch panel, this is because the dealers don't sell single switches. The switches are all the same, the relay is inside of the switch itself. I asked a tech at toyota one day and he told me I would need to wire everything up and get a module for that like a new alarm, I was like ya, whatever dude. Take out the switch panel and the wires all go to the same place, the only other seperate wires are for the lock unlock module and the window lock. The switches are plug and play.
for example, take the driver window switch and unplug it, then switch it with the passenger side and it should work.

The auto up on the tC is only available because it has pinch protection, so that you don't squash your hand. All cars that have OEM auto up have this feature.
Auto down would definitely possible. . . all you have to do is get an aftermarket alarm and the proper relays. Most aftermarket alarms support this. . . and you'd be able to do it via remote as well.

Toyota does know. . . and it is standard on the GS300/400/430, LS400/430, SC300/400/430, LX, RX, and I believe the ES as well (98+ is when it was introduced). They get auto up/down on all windows and the sunroof, standard. Plus, you get remote operation via the key and door locks, in which you can raise or lower all windows.
