Can the headlight electrical system in an xb be modified so that the headlights go off by themselves after a delay?

My other car has this feature and i am in the habit of letting the car turn off the headlights.
I know that i'm gonna leave the lights on in my box and have a dead battery in the morning on day.

 

Not sure what you are talking about because I have to manualy turn on and off my lights. I dont have day time running lights or anything. Or are you talking about if you leave your lights on on accident is there something you can do so they will shut off automatically? If so you can get a timer delay for your battery at any auto store. Basically how it works is that the computer in your car can tell when your car is running or not and after say 10 minutes of your car being shut off it will automatically turn the power off in the car. The only thing is that I dont know if that will reset your settings in the car as well as if you have an alarm if that will still work!
