when you purchase it, everything should be included for installation.

including wiring.

Yep, it comes with everything. Even has templates for cutting the rear cargo mat. Has instructions/templates for both xA and xB.

One word of caution. If you follow the directions using the template they provide it puts the sub in the middle:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=142890

I have since moved it to the left as it should be. Be sure to slide the template over to the left so that the sub is in line with the plastic loop cover thing on the back of the rear seat on the drivers side. I just finished installing one in mine so feel free to PM or IM if you need any help.

Default Spend more money !!

I think spending $300 plus would certainly be the best solution for you.

The thread starter said they needed all the space they could get. I don't think this would work for them.

Have you thought about an underseat enclosure?

I thought about it. Then decided against it due to having to run an amp and all. I think if you're sticking with the factory head unit the bazooka solution is a good thing.

Has anyone thought about taking the factory sub and mounting it in the storage area on the right side of the cargo space?

You could remove the foam insert tray, fabricate some brackets, and install the sub. Granted, the sub wouldn't be flush w/ the floor but it would be a lot lower then it would be if you installed the way Scion wants you too!

Also, then I could install a rear strut tower bar! hmmm..

thoughts?

Is the xb pre-wired for the bazooka or do you have to run your own wire from the head unit all the way back? I was just going to T-tap the one of the rear speaker wires for my signal and run power and ground. Any input would be great.

The bazooka kit comes with a harness that you run from the back of the head unit.
