Default How Does the BAZOOKA stay at the back of an XA?

Hey Peeps, I'm still waiting for my Bazooka which I ordered online.. my question is How does it stay at the back of an XA without obstructing the Storage area where the SPARE TIRE is? I noticed in some pictures that the BAZOOKA are positioned either on the left or right side of the back of the car. Is the bazooka bolted to the floor of the compartment where the spare tire is stored or is it just harnessed with some device? does it lift up also if the compartment or storage door is opened?

Please post some pics if you have one so that I can get an idea of how it looks like and how i'll hook up my bazooka. Thanks in advance for any help...

Actually I am getting ready to buy the tC in June and was thinking of adding the TRD Supercharger and Bazooka as an option.

First, I think that the tube is strapped down with 2 straps...I am still not sure if it blocks the ability to get the spare tire out from under the rear deck cover.

I know they mount it off to one side on the xA and I would assume that the opposite side is where the spares located.

Here is a quick question ARE BAZOOKAS any good? Are they worth the $299.00 as an option? Also is it an 8" or 10" tube?

I guess anything would be better than stock bass. Also I think since it is purchased as an option at the point of sale...insurance companies will have to cover it if your ride gets stolen and stripped down. Which has happened to me once already.

Most of the time the tubes are held down with two straps that are mounted to the floor. Where is up to either the buyer or installer.

Don't buy the tube that Scion offers, it is way overpriced. The same one can be picked up all over down for 1/2 the cost.

The bazooka tube is mounted with 2 Brackets to the Top of the Spare Tire Cover.
You can still get to the **** to unlock it! Then just unplug the harness out of the Bazooka tube and lift the Bazooka and Spare Tire cover out as one piece if you need to get to the tire. On the bazooka brackets it comes with a type of wing nut also for easy removal.
Install is easy!
