Default big 3 help

can someone run me thru on how to do the big 3 for the tc? i know that u're supposed to replace the battery negative to chassis, chassis to engine, and then the alternator to battery positive. the first two, no problem. alternator to battery positive, got me lost. i was looking at the battery the other day, there's all these different things coming from the battery and they end up being like attached to each other, or at least bundled together.

What you want ot do is add a new cable to the alternator and directly connect it to the battery terminal. Do not replace the existing alternator cable.

so just add another 4 gauge wire from the alternator to the positive? does it run thru the fuse box, or can the wire go direct from the alternator to the positive?

You can just go straight from the battery to the alternator, if you want, you can add a fuse to the line at the same amprage as stock, if it is fused.
