Default Blown amp??

I just installed my old system into the new xB, and after 5 hours of sweaty, hellish work, I flip it all on and get rewarded with no bass(2 12'' Kenwoods)...My Kenwood 600w amp's light isnt coming on....its grounded, and wired directly to the battery (getting inline fuse tomorrow.) and it doesnt come on. When I was taking it out of my volvo, I had my dad helping me...I was under the hood, and he was in the trunk undoing wires, and I told him to just yank out the power antenna wire since the screw was stripped....he yanked on the live power line, and it sparked. Could that have blown the amp? If so, is there a fuse inside I could replace or something?

Also not very happy with the big ___ gaps to either side of the dash kit I got...I know there are some xb specific kits out there, any links?

As far as the amps go, do you have the remote wire hooked up? If that's not hooked up to the amp then the amps wont cut on. If that's not it, it could be a burned up power supply. If that's the case then, depending on the shop, it'll cost about 90$ to replace. Just take it to any electronis repair shop and they should be able to fix it. Good luck and I hope that this helps. Peace.........

Thanks...its 2:23 am and I know I wont sleep unless I go out and fix the damn thing lol...

lol, yeah, it's the blue wire. It's always the simple things that'll mess up all the work that you do. Like forgetting to put the fuse into the inline fuse holder or distribution block! Well, good luck and I'm glad that I could help. Peace.........
