I'm using the Raptor C5H caps, since my car will be used for demo for Raptor. as for your second question, I'm not quite understanding what you are asking.

mine was hidden in the storage by the tire. that was the only thing that they didn't steal. i think its still there.

I have a 1 farad Rockford Fosgate Digital Cap, It's a bit overkill for my two amps, but i do like that I can see the realtime voltage going through the system. I have yet to find a decent plact to mount it, its actually strapped to the rear vent access peanel to change out the tail light bulbs. I have a pic somewhere, but honestly, you dont wat to go that route.

You don't need to add capacitors for JL Audio amplifiers. You would need another 149 of your capacitors to equal what is already in the amplifier.

All energy to move a speaker comes from the alternator. The amp simply takes the output of the alt and changes it to something useful to do work. If the charging system cannot supply the current, not amount of capacitors or extra batteries will change that.
