Default Center Console CubbyHole

I was wondering if the center console cubbyhole can fit any single din head unit or does it only fit the pioneer one that I see on this forum.

Learn from my mistakes ...

I ASSUME that your talking about the xB. If not please ignore everything below and accept my apologies ...

The center console opening is larger than ISO/DIN size ... BUT there isn't much depth to it, and not much space behind it. Even after you saw off the back of the storage compartment you have about six inches of depth to work with, max.

The DVD head unit I bought looks great, works great and sounds great. :D But it's big (more than 7" deep), and it doesn't even come close to fitting.

If someone else has found a solution please let us know.
