Default dirty dash.

so i've noticed that the dash does not like to stay clean. dust seems to be attracted to it. i'm not sure what type of cleaners could eliminate this or maybe extend the period of time between dusting with a wet rag, but does anyone have any ideas?

You said it with a "wet rag". Its the best. Maintain your OEM look. Your car did not come with a shiny oil on every crack which attracts more dust anyway.

i don't like the wet rag. when it dries it leaves behind all these little fuzzy's and when i try to get them off they just settle somewhere else on the dash.

I use compressed air and then I use window cleaner to wipe it down...that's it.

go to your local auto parts store pick up several tack rags, if you keep a tack rag in a ziplock baggie it won't go bad as quickly, basicly you wipe it over your dash it picks up the dust and doesn't leave a mess, might wanna wear gloves though, they are sticky

If you install an air filter behind the glove compartment, it will reduce the amount of dust you'll have.

Here's the DIY:
