I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before and I'm pretty sure that this is A VERY DUMB question.
The reason I ask is cause I'm gonna put some 4" speakers in the dash and they come with crossovers that are like 3-4 inches in length. I wanna wrap them in foam and "drop" them inside of the dash, so they don't make any noise and since there seems to be plenty of room in there for them, I'd figure "Do it".
I just wanna make sure cause of the foam, the crossovers don't get HOT inside the dash and cause chaos...

 

you should be fine thay wont get that hot but hook them up wrap the crossovers and test it be for you just stuf it in the dash

 

the amount of heat that is given off depends on how much power you run through them.
they shoudl be totally fine aslong as you dont over power them

 

I thought about the power issue but there shouldn't be any since I'm using the factory HU.
FYI, I'm using the Infiniti Kappas in the dash...

 

Using HU power you shouldnt have any issues
