Default Does anybody have writeup for Aftermarket Fogs?

I posted this in the tC drag coefficient forum, but haven't gotten really any responses. I just ordered some aftermarket fogs, but don't know how i'm going to hook them up. I wanted to plug them into the stock fog harness, but don't know if it's possible, where it is, or what it looks like. I'm going to mount them in the small pockets on either side of the front grille under the headlights. Anyone have any suggestions on how i should hook them up. I wouldn't care if they have a switch or just turn on automatically with the low beams (like the stock fog lights). Anyone have a DIY written up? I know many people have installed aftermarket fogs in their tCs, xBs, and xAs...

I am looking for similar suggestions... I have a set of PIAA 1400's in the living room and it looks like I might have to fabricate my own way of mounting them. If I end up doing the install, I shall take many pictures.

I thought about drilling holes in the bumper inside the outer pockets on the front, but it seems like that might not be a sturdy enough anchor. I don't want the lights to jiggle or anything as that gets pretty annoying for other drivers to see.

Just installed my PIAA 1400's today and put a little blurb about it here:

all of the scion fog light relays are the same. Toyota relay part # 90987-02012. Providing your local junk yard has any late 90 early 00 4-runners, then those relays are abundant. All the power windows/locks and several other devices run those relays. Then you can use the existing fog light harness. All I did was load the relay in, cut the existing fog light switch plug off and spliced in a new plug for the switch I wanted to use.

go to the sparks toyota web-site, they have acrobat downloadable directions on the fog light install, that will give you the location of the relay and the plug end of the wiring harness.

The only downfall of using the existing wiring is having the fog lights go off when the high beams are on, but there is a thread on how to defeat that.
