Dome lights & sound deadening - Is this a good price?
I received a quote of $350 to install two additional dome lights (one up front & one in the rear) as well as put sound deadening material in the floor, all doors, hatch and roof. Is this a good price?
Note: Before someone says I should do it myself, I'd love to, but I'm not a DIY'er, I probably don't have the required tools, nor do I have the time. Thanks

well that is a ton of sound deadner, especially if its dynamat, you gotta remember your mostly paying for labor, so it that the price for just labor its not too bad, thats like at least a whole day or more just for gutting the car and dynamatting
When you say the dome lights, are you talking about the bulb or the actual unit? If you are talking about the bulb, go to http://www.superbrightleds.com. If you are talking about the unit, try http://www.myscionparts.com. They might have what you are looking for cheaper than the dealership.
All in all though, if the sound deadening material is included, then I say it's a good price. As bryman said, that's a lot of work and sound deadening material isn't always that cheap. You might pay half that, or more, for the materials alone if you are doing the entire car. So $150 - $175 for all labor is a pretty good price.

It is $35 for the entire dome assembly.
For those that have added the sound deadening material to their car, are there any "lessons learned" or areas that I should specifically ask to have the material added to other than what I put in my original post?
Thanks
