Did this thread get moved somewhere else? Link doesn't work for me. My 05 xB dome light isn't working, but locks work fine. Replacing bulb didn't help.

Sorry I'm a noob on this board. Still a Scion noob also, but I have two now, an 05 xB 5 speed and an 06 xB auto, his and hers. Both have that Scion squeal.

Did you check the fuse?

Let's rule out the simple stuff first. Since you've replaced the bulb, have you checked the position of the selector switch on the dome light? (There are 3 positions.) Have you checked the fuse? Have you checked (using a test light or DVM) to see if you have power to the socket?
