Where can I get felt exactly like the felt inside the storage compartment in the center console? I want to line the left bin of my glove box with it.

 

I don't know if it's exact or not but you can get self-adhesive felt in sheets from Wal-Mart. It's back in the crafts section.

It sticks very well and has proven to hold up well. I've used it to line my ashtray so my change doesn't rattle. I've put some in my glove box to keep rattles down in there. I've used it on interior panels to keep them from rubbing.

 

If Wal Mart doesn't have it try a craft or fabric store. You might also use the rubbery mat sold in $ stores or the tool box liner stuff from HF.

 

Yeah I know Toyota does supply this stuff, at least to dealers in a "squeak and rattle" kit for customers who complain about interior noises, but it's probably cheaper to get it from somewhere else.

I guess if it the short tufty kind and the color is OK I guess I'll be fine. We'll see.

I found some felt at Hobby Lobby. It worked! Lined the little side compartment in the glove box. All I can say if you are going to do this yourself is make a lot of templates with paper and test fit them before you cut the felt.

I managed to do the ash tray too! With a 9" x 12" sheet there was none wasted.
