Default On the fence

hey guys...ive decided that i am gonna go thru with gettin a indash dvd..but my question is, do u guys think that i should play it safe with the kenwood ddx double din or go with one like the kvt, that flips up..i kno something will need to be fabricated for it to fit..but what do u guys think?

Eclipse has a double din head unit the looks real nice, i cant remeber the name exactly but its the newest head unit from eclipse.

yeah i like the double din..but since it fits perfect in the spot u still gotta look a little bit down to see it, if i put a flip out one i can place it a little higher..kinda like one i saw on here..some tc with like 23924 tvs

get the flip out...only bad thing is those motors wear out in the long run. but if you want to be able to view it better...then go with it. if you want it to look cool, do a flush mount. get it fiberglassed...check my profile, i got a 9" screen fiberglassed into my center console along with a cd player, equilzer, and satellite radio

i think im gonna go with a kenwood kvt..theres 3 of them and i cant tell much difference..but they all say this...retracts with a new "Z-Action" mechanism that lets you install the KVT-715DVD in more locations without interfering with the vehicle's controls.
