I'm going to be getting some cans of BSP made at a paint shop soon and was going to tacklet doing the same to my interior. Is there a walkthrough to dismantle the center console area with all the heater controls? Did I miss it? Or do I do the pull and pray method?

Sorry this pic is a little dark .. However I used automotive paint instead of spray can, the center console is painted in Chameleon as well as the speedo, the glove box, steering column and a pillars are painted the Mazdaspeed Orange which match my xB.

Did you take out the vents on the center piece or just mask around them?

It does not look like these things can be put back in... I don't want to mess up my AC being it too damn hot here.

so is that the molded dash aplique from the factory?

aslo, how thin were the pieces after you sanded them, and did they warp or get misshapen?

Took them out. You have to bend the silver piece (white in mine) kind of squish it top to bottom. Do this in the back of the piece. The front will not budge.

Hey I really like your new glove box, it looks nice. Maybe it would be better if you blended the handle with it? Thats just my 0.2 cents
