i guess....if u used a power invertor...but it would only work when u r sitting still. Plus if u used it on the street, everyone would think that your engine was blowin up or sumthin....IMO...not cool....maybe at a carshow

Default be careful

be careful with fog machines. They use alot of watts and 120volts. and with most power inverters you get around 150watts and with anything higher 10 minutes will drain you battery. And yes if you use it on the road you wont see anything. in fact it will only work on non-windy day. Also fog machines can take up to 20 mins to warm up before they will fire.

Default well if your going to

Add another battery if you havent already done so.
You can hook a plastic tube to a fog machine to rediret it outside the car.
Are you sure you want to put that big of a hole thru you body pan?
Be aware that it uses fog fluid and the liquid spills out so do mount it next to amps or speakers.

If its only for carshows, just set it under the car during a show, no need to permanently mount it and ride around with a big fog maching under your car the rest of the time.

Why do a fog machine, just go ahead and do a flame kit on your exhaust!!!

first of all that price is way too high id' say $80 at the most is a fair price for a 700 watt fogger. you might be able to mount it but you will have no access to the fluid tank. as far as power goes the fogger will draw 5.83 amps of ac current. i say just bring it to shows and set it up around the car.

What you need is a pan of water and a chunk of dry ice. No power required at all, and the fog is just CO2 and water vapor so it won't leave residue on your car or the surroundings.

You could use liquid nitrogen as well, but it requires a special container to carry the stuff around.

I like that idea and its simple. You cant go wrong.

But if you really want to screw with someones head take a 20oz bottle of dry ice and water and pour it out as you driving down the road and freak out the people behind you.

Better yet put a strobe light inside and stick a biohazard sticker on your rear windsheild. When you get to a stop light turn on the strobe pour out the dry ice and have two guys jump out of the back in bio-suits and run in opposite directions and drive off. (Dont forget t pick up your friends later!)

Do you mean chip up the dry ice? It won't last long if you mix it with water! If you put a cap on the bottle, you have something very dangerous, BTW! Don't try that at home! Small soda bottles can take about 400PSI before they burst, and when they let go you don't want to be anywhere nearby! You have been warned!

I guess with the right mix of fog and lights you could make your scion look like its floating... or just hide your stock wheels...

If you really need to have a low lying fog, I would suggest a American DJ MisterCool. It uses ice and a smoke machine to create a low lying fog. It's a great effect. I use them for Halloween displays for the holidays. Currently on eBay for about $179.00.

Good luck.

I've done it before so I can help. See how many say don't and you shouldn't? That should just make you want it more. Do it, PM for help... It's too easy.
