before attempting this dis connect your battery...then each air bag has a plug you unplug...the passenger one comes off with the whole top piece...then unbolts from it..the steering wheele one unscrews from the two sides then there are two different cables you have to unplug. its pretty much look and unplug, not too hard.

thank you for all the comments guys...it means alot. i spent alot of time on this so im glad people other than myself like it lol.

you need to wait a little while after disconnecting the battery it has a capcitor so in the case of an accident the battery cable gets cut it will still deploy

yeah when i get the time to do it. door panels wont be hard...its just super time consuming sanding and re clearing and sanding and yadda yadda yadda. the center consol is getting done asap as well as the steering wheel and the litlle top/bottom cover that goes over the back of the wheel...i dunno what it is, around the key hole and such.

Nice job. I've thought about doing mine in white but haven't gotten up the gonads to try it.

It looks good. You might want to think twice about painting the airbad in the wheel.
If it ever deploys the paint will flake off and will be shot right into your face.
There have been law suits due to repair shops dying or painting used airbags that were the wrong color and putting them back into cars.

the only paint that will flake off when an airbag is deployed is cheap single stage crap. car paint doesnt flake off if done right...it just breaks. i've painted many airbags...and also seen them go off both in an accident...and just because we were bored at work, no paint flake just breaks with the plasitc.

thank you for the suggestion though...if i had not already researched and had prior expierences with it, i would have had to see it first hand...aka....blow up another air bag
