My wife has the pink one he is talking about, i did it in 04 and early 06 it started letting go. I have worked in paint shops for over 12 years and properly prepped it and baked it multiple times to get the mold release agents out but it still let go. Once show season was over i started chipping the cracks away and it was black on the backside of the paint, not white like the sealer we used. It almost seems like a top layer of plastic is chipping off but it's only in the areas where the harsh texas sun gets it, the bottom half is fine.

Man and I thought the glare from the Radio Vent trim pieces was bad - all pink or yellow must be brutal during a summer day. Not as bad as cars with really sloping windshields but still . . .

 

I want to see the door panels two toned, I'm thinking about matching the interior the exterior when I two tone my bop box
