RF P2 8" and an old MTX 2x75 Blue thunder amp I had to put back together, but its still kickin! The box is .35 cubes, right at what the sub calls for and it sounds retty good. It can get a tad boomy, but thats due mostly to the stock radio controls

 

I dig that install alot... functional ICE.

Might have to look at this down the line, because I definitely don't want to waste my rear cargo area for subwoofers.

 

Two questions about a setup like that...

1. Is the foot room impaired much for passengers in the back?

2. What does it do to the HVAC ducts under the seats? (Do these ducts really effect the back of the car much anyway?)

What are the dimensions on the box? Is it a diy? I'll have to check out the mounting depth on that sub... I've been thinking of doing something similar....

 

its 5 deep by 13 wide and 12 deep, makes for .35 cubes. I had to cut the vent under the seat to make it flat with the carpet, take out the padding under the seat under the carpet, move the pass seat's airbag/seatbelt wiring and "slightly modify" the sheetmetal under the seat with a hammer. I just really wanted to hit that magically .35 that the sub called for and got. You could just make the box 5 at the front, 4 at the rear and shrink the rest some so you dont have to touch the wiring or vent , but I was hardcore about it! lol

no, but I run my ____ into the ground before I buy it. I literally had her at the point of "just f***ing do it and get it over" because she didnt wanna spend the money or time on it, now she says she doesnt know how she lived without it! Says it brings out stuff in the music she never knew was there and makes her ride so much more enjoyable
